Catching up

I am so far behind on my posting. I have had wonderful intentions of getting it done. But when you have a sick baby it is the last thing on the list. I am hoping she is finally over her bout of sickness. An ear infection, diarrhea, constipated, (yes tmi) two molers and to top it off throwing up!!! Poor little Mckinly. I don't know how much more we can handle!!! So here is to catching up on my blogging! Not like many people read my blog.

Halloween

This is my cute, darling little owl! While we were in Utah we took Mckinly to my parents trunk or treat. Baby M loved walking around to each one of the cars. After she sat down and pulled out all of her candy. Her new discovery is suckers!!

One

Yes, little Mckinly turned 1 on Sunday!!!! Oh, what a bittersweet day it was. We had a wonderful weekend of celebrating. Details to come soon.

Why???

Why is it so hard to trim babies' finger nails and toe nails? I always end up in a full sweat trying to trim them. Anyone else??

Why is it every time you are going to the bathroom your little one comes and finds you?

Why is it when your darling little one is hungry but when you get everything all ready they don't want it?

These are just a few of my whys today? But when I look into that little face I just can't help but smile. I love this little girl! Is she really going to be 1??

Pumpkin carving

Tonight we decided to get a jump on the October festivities so we carved pumpkins! Well, Darren did while I watched and baby M got to feel and play with the insides of the pumpkin!! We invited our friends the Clarks over to join in the fun. We had a great night.


I am loving this month! I have always loved October but having Kinly this month made me love it even more. This year California actually has had some rain and cooler days. Those cooler days have caused the leaves to change. I love it!! I am excited for these next couple of weeks. We have some fun things planned. Here is to a wonderful October!

Over the weekend!

Over the weekend we were fortunate to have 3 of my really good friends come and visit! We had a wonderful time. We crammed into 3 days lots of shopping, staying up late, talking, a late movie, many trips to Pinkberry, lots of yummy food and a lot of laughs! I am very lucky to always have visitors. It is so nice to spend time with friends. It makes me miss living by them so much. True friends are hard to come by!

I do have to give a big thank you to Darren for going and sleeping at his Dads at night and helping out so much. Thanks honey!

my new toy!

My mom came to visit over Labor Day weekend. We had a fun time like we always do. Grandma Patty bought her a little walker while she was here. Mckinly loves it! It was hilarious to see her with it. Her face lit up when we were setting it up. It still does when we watch her walk with it! Mckinly sure loves having her grandma here! Miss you!! xoxo
